I am not sure that the FBI cares about Real Estate Consumers being "Frauded" against by Mortgage Agents. I have personally told them information about Fraud and Have Heard Nothing.
The Current Economics situation has a Lot More to do with the Association of Realtors than ANYONE Seems to be talking about.
This Problem is Not State Wide, not across the USA but it is Everywhere that REALTOR is, that is members of the National Association of Realtors, and they are Worldwide.
Citizen’s Rights in the Housing Industry, Consumer Protection for the Real Estate Consumer Simply Does NOT exist. This is a Fact. If you have ever tried to hold a Realtor accountable for lies, misleadings, silent fraud, non-disclosure or any other issue that has harmed you financially - physically or emotionally then you know it really is impossible.
The
"Realtors" are untouchable and the Related Industries help them keep this up and protect them Per say because they are a Billion Dollar Company and everybody wants a piece of it. Plus NAR attornies have the MONEY of the NAR backing them up and can keep you in court for years, cost you a fortune and eventually break you in spirit and in the pocketbook. Even if you have a case that proves flat out in black and white that the Realtor lied - decieved and misled you and prove without a doubt how it harmed you - you cannot touch them.. they are simply to BIG.
NAR policies, the way Mortgage Brokers are allowed to operate and the lack of accountability in the real estate industry CERTAINLY has a Major Role in the Failure of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, Secondary Mortgages, and the financial system as a whole.
False Data, Unregulated MLS Data that is the KEY factor in “Home Values” and Realtors, members of NAR not being held accountable is a Major cause of the Housing Crisis.
