Folks as you know I have a Website www.SavvyBroker.com and I am EXPOSING the Real Estate Industry... Below is an Email from the National Association of Realtors telling me to STOP... a few years back the Association of Realtors ( at that time I was still a member of the NAR) they told me to STOP using Realtor in my Domain name, I have names like HorseRealtor, MontanaRealtor and several others. At the time I pointed out many, many other websites that had the name Realtor in the Domain Name.
We will have lots more on those emails and what tactics NAR uses to control it's agents and they follow like sheep.. they have no choice.. Stay Tuned.
I have Read Indepth Real Estate Broker Law Books and they talk about "Realtor "in place of the Words Real Estate Broker and Real Estate Agent, yet the Association of Realtors tells me that "the term REALTORS is only a membership mark, not a synonym for real estate agents/brokers/salespersons and should never be used to describe a profession. "

I have Freedom of Speech Rights - Don't I - Am I not allowed to tell you the Truth about the Realtors.... Why? Trademark Violation... What?
Though they CLAIM they "appreciate" me letting them know and though I lost thousands of dollars and hundreds or hours of work by letting my "Realtor" domain names go, they Still Allow others to use Realtor in their Domain Name, so Either they cannot do anything about it or they simply Will Not do anything about it.
The Association of Realtors Lets Registrars like Godaddy.com, Network Solutions and Many, Many more Registrars Realtor Domain names, go ahead, you could Do it Today, and those same registrars encourage you to buy more and give ideas and examples of more to buy. And The National Association of Realtor Either Cannot or Will Not do anything.
But they target me because they Do Not want me telling you the Truth about the real estate industry at www.SavvyBroker.com - though "Realtor" is not in the Domain Name they have found another reason to attempt to Shut me up. So I am Not Allowed to Talk about Realtors? Hmmm...
When I was a member I was not allowed to use Realtor in a Domain name.
I Quit the National Association of Realtor because of many reasons, the Biggest being the NAR provides no Consumer Protection in Real Estate. I CAN Prove It.
They can say what they want, they can run as many ads as they want and it will not make the Truth any Different than it is. My Goal is to Educate the Real Estate Consumer on the "Tactics" the National Association of Realtors uses The National Association of Realtors and their lack of policing their own "profession" - industry is in large part the reason for the Economic Collapse - My Opinion - Yes- But I have many, many Stories to Back this opinion up.
Such as connections between Realtors, Mortgage Brokers and Appraisers, such as Anti-Trust Violations, MLS Data that is Not Policed for Quality control on the accuracy of the information, Realtor being "Self Governed", Ethics NOT being Law, REALTORS having more money than those who work at the State Real Estate commission and therefore afford attorneys to Get the Laws they want, Sellers Carry Backs - Selling Bonuses adding to Purchase Prices and Much - Much More - Do Not EVER Believe anyone - that tells you that the National Association of Realtors is Out to Protect the Real Estate Consumer, This is NOT True, the NAR is out to make BIG Money at Your Expense...

The Email sent to me by NAR also CLAIMS that joining Realtor is Voluntary, NOT TRUE.. you do not have ACCESS to Data and are Limited and Boycotted by Realtors.... if you are not a member so it is not really True that Joining is Voluntary if you want to Succeed.
So Again, Flat Out Lie.
If you DO NOT join than your business is crippled... Mary Newill says that it is Voluntary to JOIN, yet if you are a Sales Agent or a Broker Associate, and Most are, it is NOT Voluntary, the Broker decides and there are few Brokers... Broker Owners decide ... and if they don't join it is impossible to participate in the "Realtor" professsion.
The National Association of Realtors love to send out memos and Letters on various topics that say this "MAY" be in violation of your state laws. Do they do this because they don't really know, don't get Internet or Blogging Laws, or are they trying to use Scare Tactics.
I remember a Montana Association of Realtors Letter that said that "Buyers Rebate" "May" violate state law, and that it "may" be considered "Mortgage Fraud" ( I will Post that Letter at a later date on http://www.crystallcox.com/ .
A couple of months later the Department of Justice Sued the State of Montana and NOW buyers rebates are Legal as they always Should have been. the NAR Does not Want the Real Estate Consumer to Win - I CAN and I Will Prove it...We DO give a Buyers Rebate however, 99% of Montana Realtors Do Not. .... Ask Why?So there are thousands of Blogs, News Sites, Article Websites and Video that Talk about "Realtor" but the Association Wants to Shut me Up.. Wait til' they see what I really say in "Confessions of a Realtor" I know the Truth about the Association of Realtors and They want to Shut me up.

Upon review, I note that you are using the Marks in an incorrect context on this website and in the name of a blog, "Confessions of a REALTOR." The terms REALTOR, REALTORS, and REALTOR-ASSOCIATE, as well as the REALTOR block "R" logo are federally registered collective membership marks. As such, these marks may only be used to identify members of the local Board and the National Association.
I note that you are listed as an inactive Member at this time and therefore, are no longer licensed to use our marks. Your use of our Marks in the name of your blog "Confessions of a Realtor," because you are not a Realtor is misleading and may be a violation of the real estate license laws of your state.
It appears that you are complaining about the real estate industry in general not just our Members on this website. As not all real estate licensees are our Members and therefore should not be referred to as REALTORS, we request that you remove these incorrect context references of the membership marks and substitute an appropriate job title on this website.
As you may recall, the term REALTORS is only a membership mark, not a synonym for real estate agents/brokers/salespersons and should never be used to describe a profession. Ms. Cox, I remember writing to you in 2005 regarding some domain names that were using the Marks incorrectly. I recall that you reviewed the Manual and sent me many emails asking questions to understand the rules.
I remember being very happy when you did agree to comply with the rules. It saddens me very much to see how unhappy you are with the real estate profession. Membership in the Board of REALTORS is entirely voluntary and while we hope you will rejoin the Board, we respect your right to choose not to do so.
However, at the same time, we must ask you to respect our rights in the marks we use to identify individuals as members.
Accordingly, we hereby request that you immediately take steps to modify your blog page so as to discontinue your use of the REALTOR marks except in reference to individuals as Members. Please provide us with written assurance that you have reviewed your website and made the necessary changes to your use of the REALTOR marks ."
SO when I was a member it was Wrong, and now that I am NOT a member they are still harassing me.... They tell me to Stop Talking about Realtor.. They sure do Pick and Choose WHO they attempt to Shut Down - Why - Is it Because I Know the truth about the Real Estate Industry?

BULL, this Blog, my stories are Confessions of a Realtor... from When I was a Realtor... I quit the NATIONAL association So that I COULD tell you more.. Did Mary STOP the Book Confessions of a Realtor... I guess that is NOT misleading because the Author is Still a Member of the Association of Realtors and that is Why She is telling you NOTHING, and basically just quoting NAR forms, ethics and other jokes....
