Sure you see one now and then get arrested or made to be financially accountable but in my experience I have never personally seen a Mortgage Broker accountable for what they do to hurt the borrower, the Real Estate Consumer.

The Rate of Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer Turnover should scare you. They have you financial data, they don’t have a whole lot of training, seemingly no real company loyalty. Make sure your Mortgage Broker has been at the same place for at least 5 years, otherwise they just got the job because it is easy money.
