
Is there Really a Way to Get the Full Story of a Home or Property Before you Buy?
Nobody is In Support of you knowing the Full Story BEFORE you Buy - my goodness - if there were efforts in place BEFORE you buy then the Real Estate Industry would Cease to Exist.
Often Times Most All of the Realtors Know ... Especially in Small Towns, Many homes have been for sale along time or SOLD many times over the course of any one particular Realtors Career. We know Stuff. The Seller will list, oftentimes with the Realtor who Sold them the Home.
And in this there ends up being issues with homes, neighbors, fueds, water rights, or many - many other issues that lots of agents know and you the unsuspecting buyer does not know.
The Seller may choose to NOT list with an agent that "Knows to Much" about the property or home that is for sale. If I as an Honest Broker Wish to talk about what I know about the dangers, construction inferiority, construction fraud, leaky roof, septic installed wrong or anything else that I know about a property I CANNOT SAY A WORD... there is No One Listening... I SHOULD be able to warn consumers of homes that I know in market over my career that have issues that will hurt them but if I do the REALTORS get mad and the Seller does not like it - they got stuck with a Lemon and if I don't keep my mouth shut they will NOT be able to Sell it and the Vicous Cycle Continues.
